General Admission Requirements at Global Professional Studies?

SSSCE / WASSCE Applicants

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Credit passes (A1 – C6) in six (6) subjects
  • An overall aggregate of 36 or better
  • Three (3) core subjects:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics
    • Integrated Science or Social Studies
  • Three (3) elective subjects relevant to the chosen programme

Diploma Holders

Applicants with diploma qualifications will be assessed based on their academic background.

General requirements include:

  • Credit passes in:
    • English Language
    • Mathematics

Additional considerations:

  • Placement level depends on the relevance of prior qualifications
  • Each application is reviewed case-by-case by the department

Mature Applicants

Applicants applying as mature students must:

  • Be at least 25 years old
  • Provide a valid birth certificate
  • Have credit passes in:
    • English Language
    • Core Mathematics

Applicants without the required passes will:

  • Be required to take a Special Entrance Examination

All mature applicants must:

  • Sit for a Mature Students’ Entrance Examination, consisting of:
    • General Paper
    • Aptitude Test

Successful candidates:

  • Will be shortlisted and invited for an interview
  • Final admission is based on performance and quota availability
